Make a day of it
With some of the most stunning coastline in the UK, The Solent offers up plenty of things to do if you’re choosing to make a day of it.
If you are arriving in the bay by boat, please simply drop you anchor, north of the large white buoys and someone will be out to collect you. In the case of bad weather we will contact you, advising you to go to Yarmouth Harbour where we will collect you by Hut Truck.
If you are arriving by helicopter, please contact us to make arrangements, please note that helicopter arrivals must be arranged in advanced and landing fees will apply.
The Hut Truck
The Hut Trucks are fully restored 1970’s military Land Rover 101 Forward Control One-Tonne Trucks. They shuttle guests from Yarmouth Harbour Office to The Hut and Back and are a famous sight on the island.
